I did 2d and 3d design and animation for some of the major screen graphic sequences in Rise of the Planet of the Apes. The project started with simple words on a page. Director Rupert Wyat came to G-Creative for some visual ideas for the screens behind James Franco (which was just a blue screen). I took that and developed it into a rough animated animatic with sample visuals for them to use as a guide for shooting. After production, I was brought back on by G-Creative to complete the shots.
