I designed and animated this concept design for my buddies at iSolve for the all important ‘Devastation Map’ showing what was about to happen to the world in the next 48 hours.
This is the reference I was given as a basis for what they wanted. Steven Soderbergh had worked with the art department to determine the pace and flow of each major points’ outbreak flow, and this is what I used to pace my animation and spread areas.
They ended up wanting a darker version for onset playback, which looked great too, but I thought the white version was rad.
